IFYAC's Annual Audition Workshop 2024

If you are looking for an opportunity to practice your audition skills and learn some new techniques for upcoming auditions, look no further than IFYAC"s annual audition workshop!

In our day long workshop, culminating with a mock audition before volunteer judges, we will cover everything from walking in confidently and prepared, to walking out having presented yourself the best you can. Music selection, preparation, and performance, dance and movement, poise, character development on the fly, leaving a good impression, cold reads and monologues, how to dress, etc. We have talented directors, choreographers, and professional actors teaching these concepts. This Workshop is for ages 8 to 17!

We'll take a short break for lunch between sessions!  If you have dietary restrictions, please bring your own lunch.

Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre is an organization literally born within a community of volunteers. From the very beginning of the first Idaho Falls Little Theatre production to the inception of the Idaho Falls Youth Arts Centre, to today, volunteers have had, and continue to have, a vital and invaluable role at IFYAC. We are a diverse organization interested in volunteers with a wide variety of talents, skills, and willingness to educate and enrich the lives of youth through the performing arts.
